Network and Network Security Administrator

Job Description

  • Responsible for all aspects of network and network security in our global production networks including maintaining, managing, configuring, upgrading, and monitoring network and security infrastructure
  • Proactively monitor for network anomalies and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues across different technologies (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
  • Ensuring 5 9’s (99.999%) operational performance
  • Network and Network Security design, implementation, optimization, and performing software and hardware upgrades
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for complex issues and escalations from internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with other related teams to support existing and new functionalities as business requirements evolve
  • Adopting agile methodologies and showing an aptitude for being able to automate where possible
  • Identify, evaluate, and drive new opportunities through an expert-level comprehension of network design, routing/switching, and the protocols used in the network stack to deliver intelligence and resiliency


  • Proven 2 – 3 years of Network and Network Security Administration
  • Experience in administering highly available, 24×7 mission-critical network services
  • Solid knowledge of L2/L3 networks including BGP, Security, Routing, Switching, tunneling, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring using tools such as PRTG, Cacti, LibreNMS, Grafana/Prometheus, and others is a plus
  • Experience with administering NextGen Firewalls, IPS, VPN, and Load Balancers
  • Experience with WAF, DDOS, and other elements is a plus
  • Solid understanding of Networking and related domains
  • Solid understanding of network and server security
  • Experience with basic Linux administration & troubleshooting skills is a plus
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible is a plus
  • Understanding VMware and similar virtualization technologies is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and apply critical thinking to resolve complex issues
  • Strong team player and relationship-building skills
  • A self-starter with strong work habits, able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent command of written and Spoken English is a must
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation for emergencies
  • Should not have restrictions for travel/work within the country and abroad
