Engineering Manager

Job Description:
  • Ensuring that the organization meets the contractual obligations and exceeds the desired quality of work; addressing customer critical business issues and providing valuable solutions

  • Execute the successful POC with the vendor to the customer, supporting the pre-sales team by joining customer meetings and providing the resource.

  • Assist and communicate with other departments and escalation points relevant to the troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.

  • To ensure the quality of the service provided as MS engineering to customer/project

  • Planning the training to be taken, and working with HR to create the Engineers’ carrier path.

  • Provides motivation and direction to the team by delegating responsibilities appropriately and empowering team members to deliver results

  • Provide senior leadership, change management, and implementation of organization-wide practices, policies, and procedures

  • Ensures productive cross-department relationships and is developed and maintained

  • Managed the teams in various geographic locations with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding project targets.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years experience in telco industries working in project management, and operations.

  • Highly experienced in Leadership and People Management skills

  • Has worked at multiple customer accounts to gain experience in working with and handling different types of customers;

  • Has the ability to work with senior management on both internal and customer

  • Possess strong collaboration skills – can work with other organizations such as third-party vendors, sales, marketing, and legal, and understand their terminology; understand the requirements

  • Has an understanding of the technology in the telco industry

  • Strong understanding of networking and virtualization technologies

  • Holding RHCE, RHCSA, RHCA, Microsoft, and Linux certifications advantage

  • Advanced level of English

  • Customer-oriented

  • Outgoing personality and can communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through presentations

  • Competency of change management

  • Competency in conflict management and decision making

  • Both strategic and tactical strong planning abilities

  • Has an analytical and financial perspective
