Account Manager

Job Description:
  • Identify and develop target demand lists to deliver growth and revenue-driving opportunities for Odine

  • Partner with Supplier Business Key Account Sales Leaders to develop a cohesive and aligned plan to support the business with their objectives

  • Create and maintain an active Opportunity Pipeline

  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers with Strategic Accounts, OEMs, and End Users

  • Partner with engineer, contractor, and distributor channels to support the sales strategy.

  • Train local sales managers and provide knowledge-based leadership in the selling environment. This includes product overviews, specification reviews, solutions assessments creating total value propositions, etc.

  • Provide relevant feedback on Presales market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the designated industry

  • Identify and participate in relevant industry groups and organizations to help develop and implement strategy

  • Considered the industry Subject Matter Expert for Sales, Marketing for designated markets/ industries

Qualifications:
  • BS/MS degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering departments

  • Minimum 8 years experience in selling an industrial, technical product line or solution

  • A solid technical background coupled with creativity

  • Ability to understand complex customer needs to position differentiated products and solutions

  • Familiarity with CRM tools

  • Ability to identify and analyze customer data and trends to develop sales strategies

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • A drive to win in diverse selling environments as the lead or part of a broader team

  • Ability to think ‘Big Picture”

  • Strategic Thinker and Business Acumen

  • Adaptable to changes in strategy and direction strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional analysis, problem-solving and organizational skills
